01.Acceptance of Terms & Entity Information

03.Duty of Utmost Good Faith & Medical Disclosures

Under the Indian Insurance Act, 1938 (including Section 45), insurance is a contract of Utmost Good Faith (Uberrimae Fidei).

• You are legally obligated to provide complete, accurate, and truthful details regarding your age, medical history, existing illnesses (PED), family medical conditions, and lifestyle habits (e.g. tobacco use).
• Non-disclosure or suppression of material facts may result in claim repudiation or policy cancellation by the issuing insurance company without refund of premium. Letsbima.com strictly advises all customers to disclose all medical history fully during the proposal stage.

04.Calculators, Simulators & Educational Tools

All simulator outputs, coverage calculators, and educational estimates provided on the Platform are designed to assist you in understanding financial risk dimensions. These calculations are strictly educational estimates and do not constitute legal financial guarantees or underwriting commitments.

05.Statutory Free-Look Period & Cancellations

In accordance with IRDAI regulations, every retail life and health insurance policy purchased comes with a statutory Free-Look Period of 15 to 30 days from the date of physical or electronic policy document receipt. If you are unsatisfied with the policy terms, you may cancel the policy within this window through our assistance desk for a full refund minus stamp duty and medical examination expenses.

06.Claims Advocacy Support

Letsbima.com operates a dedicated claims assistance desk to help policyholders navigate hospital cashless approvals and reimbursement documentation. While our team provides relentless advocacy and liaison with TPAs and insurers, final claim approval, allowable medical deductions, and settlement amounts are subject to the insurer’s policy schedule and medical guidelines.
